Liberia makes the news. Everyone is mortified that Trump asked where Boakai learned English and then said he spoke it better than everyone else. Instead, the news is that a head of state from the Global South told the Emperor that he believes in the "Make America Great Again" policy and begged him to exploit his peoples' minerals in name of investment which will surely happen as it has for much of Liberia's history as a settler colony. The Americans just now brokered a deal between DRC and Rwanda and, will steal minerals from DRC. They have been stealing Syria's oil for years. That's the real news.
