 "There are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks where decades happen" applies to the last 17 days. Iran has totally changed the game. Who knew it would be Iran that would strike such a blow to the American Empire and hit the petro dollar economy which allows the Americans to produce nothing, run a deficit in trillions and, sustain a death military to subdue humanity? It's happening so fast but one of the thoughts crossing everyone's heads is that Iran has restrained itself for so long. And, it really is a revolutionary country.

Western journalism is just pure propaganda

 

Wow, this is the liberalism , the shining light which Francesca Albanese said Iran didn't have. Western journalism is literal shit. It is propaganda, propaganda to prepare ground for war, for bombs, for bombing children, starving children, destroying civilisations. It is propaganda so liberal Americans say "Iran is evil but we don't support bombs." Westerners don't wash their bums. Their newspapers and magazines are toilet paper. Let them clean their bums with this.

Have the Americans ever assassinated so many leaders in such a short time?

I'm not part of WDF anymore. I worked with them from 2019 to 2021. 

This is a really bad statement and this is what I posted as a comment on their FB post: 

1. This is a very problematic statement because it assumes all Iranian women are happy that Khameini was killed or were anti Khameini.

2. Please bear in mind that almost 200 school girls were killed on the first day of the attack.

3. Khameini's wife and baby grand daughter was slaughtered in their home.

4. Millions of Iranian women are with their leaders and with their country.

5. How many Iranian women are you reaching out to in this post?

6. Our only job should be to undemonise the Iranian revolutionary leadership, administration, and entire society which in large parts has been done thanks to feminists.

7. Condemn the assassination and ongoing attacks

8. Point out how Pakistan may be complicit in its relationship with the Empire.

I've come away from all my own problematic views of Iran. I viewed Iranian mullahs as backward mullahs and never saw Iran as a revolutionary country as it is. Liberal ideas of feminism , the liberal sense that women should not be forced to wear hijab, was the only lens through which I looked at Iran. The protests which were reported in mainstream media also distorted reality. 

Mahsa Amini's death showed us a distorted view of reality , that the only that Iranian women care about is the hijab. The protests which apparently erupted all over the country apparently showed frustration of the whole population. Who knows who funded these protestors? 

Can the issue of hijab really encompass everything that a population may be fed up of? 

What changed everything was the genocide in Gaza in 2023. I realised that the only countries who militarily supported Palestine were Iran and Yemen and Hizbollah in Iran. This helped to deconstruct my ideas. 

Feminism really has been a villain - demonising Iran, Islam, whole populations. This type of liberal feminism only seeks sexual freedom, choice feminism, capitalism and consumerism, and so on. 

Feminism has its roots in workers' movements of the 20th century. Marxism's contribution to feminism was to illuminate that domestic labour is labour and, contributes to the social reproduction. That domestic labour is not nothing. That biological reproduction also reproduces social reproduction. This labour is performed by women. And, all this is exploited by capitalism. 

I've listened to many of Catherine Liu's conversations on YouTube and, I really liked a couple of her ideas: 

- that feminism was supposed to help men and women work together, not alienate them from each other
- that feminism in America has merely been reduced to the right of abortion

Where does this leave us?

Disappointed with Francesca Albanese big time

I was so amazed at Francesca Albanese , literally she and maybe a couple of other European leaders who were single handedly saving European womanhood, amazed at how she centred colonialism in her analysis/activism vis a vis Palestine but here she is talking shit. REALLY DISAPPOINTING. You don't get to frame your protest in imperial terms, literally copying every Western media and state. Iran doesn't have a "regime", it's a revolutionary state since the bloodsucking Shah of Iran was overthrown. Its Americans and Europeans who are in a "regime." This really goes to show Europeans think they are superior to us. Palestinians are being genocided so they deserve her saviourism.

Their inherent racism is not going to go away, their colonial mindset is everywhere and they can't seem to unlearn it.

Feminism isn't working for me anymore

I have openly identified as a feminist , left feminist to be precise, for some time. I no longer find it useful to analyse the world and its problems. Feminism has to mean something more than just useless slogans which I feel it has become. Even leftist feminists became nationalists braying for war as was the case last year when Pakistan and India enjoyed a four-day war. Historically, feminism really started as working class women's movements organised by Communists. And, even until today, those who need feminism are poor working women in a country like Pakistan who don't know their rights, think Islam allows up to 7 wives, are kept so ignorant, and, are crushed and invisible. The majority of the country is simply ok morally to keep everyone poor, substandard and, backward. Just look at our servant system. And, smart leftist educated women are openly proud that they don't do housework, don't know how to cook or have any life skills. Last year, witnessing feminists' nationalism and jingoism was a shock to my system. This year, feminists are saying they are happy the big bad Iranian mullah is dead but they are not happy with imperialism , showing such a shameful political thought process. Then there are the mainstream liberal feminists who project a sick religiosity, nationalism, adherence to beauty industry and copy cat of mainstream ideas. Who is feminism for?

These Gulf States deserve everything they are getting. Repeatedly Iran told them to stop allowing the Americans use their lands to attack them. They didn't utter any condemnation on the assassination of Khameni. What's more, UAE sold out the Palestinians and, practically normalised relations with Israel and is fuelling the horrific invisible civil war in the Sudan. Just see the gluttony of the iftars that Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, etc host while children in Gaza and Yemen and Sudan starve. The UAE has used almost slave labour from South Asia and elsewhere to build its towers and, made itself as a haven for global capital and , special comfortable tourist spot for Westerners. Everyone who has been to UAE knows that Emirati are at the top, next followed by white people and, the rest at the bottom. It's a sick racial hierarchy on display there. They deserve what they are getting for being the dishonourable artificial Western vassal states that they are. A place like Dubai has become so central , as a travel hub, even the UN has a huge hub there, and many friends and family are there. But it is what it is. The Gulf States got what they deserve.

Americans and Israelis are finally coming for Iran for their end game and we may witness Iran being wiped out like they destroyed Iraq and Libya and Syria. But we know they will die honourable deaths, unlike the mediocre deaths Pakistanis and Indians die fighting each other with Western weapons. We liberal Pakistan are so anti mullah that we can't differentiate between our mullah trash and the Islamic Revolution that came to power by removing the bloodsucking pro American parasite known as Shah of Iran. The West is anti Iran because Iranians nationalised their oil and, support Palestine. It's not about "women's rights." All the Pakistani mullahs and mullah adjacents and Junaid Jamshed types who turned mullah and started selling clothes to women are in one pile and Khameini is in one pile. Liberal Pakistanis and Pakistani liberal feminists eat/consume Western propaganda against Iran. There is complete misinformation about Iran and its society. Khameini is not a politician but a beloved leader who represents a struggle against imperial forces which have been , listen here de contexualised feminists, sanctioning , squeezing , bombing Iran. Iran suffered an 8 year war against Iraq sponsored by the Americans. They have suffered sanctions. They have suffered everything you can think of and still supported Palestinians. Pakistanis can't understand this because they have never fought imperialism , they only know how to fight their neighbours and squash minorities. The West has assassinated yet another leader and, our only job is to condemn it until your voice is hoarse.

I can't imagine a world without Chomsky

There is so much abuse of Noam Chomsky online that it is disorienting , demonstrating how toxic and stupid social media can be. Without thinking , folks are quick to discredit Chomsky in attempts to look self righteous. 

What's the point of it if a great intellectual like Chomsky, apparently the most quoted intellectual, can be discredited in a mere few seconds?  

Stupidity is singularly a human quality. There is no stupidity in nature, in the laws of physics, the universe. Yes, we have unexplained diseases, deformities, events but soon science will crack them and even if they don't crack we know that it not stupidity that launches earthquakes, makes accidents,  or unexplained phenomenon. We have to accept suffering in life , much of it caused by humans but some because of randomness of it. 

To be human is to err yes but is to be human also to be colossally stupid? 

I know I have tendencies to be self righteous, to want to be right, to learn and understanding something to only throw it in people's faces and demonstrate rage as an intellectual badge, that my heart and mind are in the right sync by calling out injustice but this goes to show that self righteous is as stupid as fuck. It's so problematic if it can dismiss a towering intellectual like Noam Chomsky.

And, let's face it, none of us can match Noam Chomsky's humility, total lack of self grandeur, and sheer dedication to the truth and, to illuminate it. 

I can't imagine a world without Chomsky, he's been part of my political consciousness since I went to university in 1998. He's everywhere if you are looking to understand why Americans are so destructive and what's behind their policies. He's like a mountain, a giant tree. 

If he were a holy figure, cities would have been burned by now, so there's that.

And, there is more garbage against him here, none of it which makes any sense. The effect is to divide critique of imperialism, to split a unified critique of American /Western policies. That opposing Israel can't be OK if you can't oppose Russia. And, that he didn't talk about Bosnia. These are such lame points that they can't be strung together. Who has read and consumed all his work, all his lectures and, all his interviews? This is reactionary garbage which merely exposes the writers of these posts are idiots. 

Trying to discredit the biggest intellectual is like trying to break a mountain with a toothpick. 

There is no evidence that Chomsky was a pedophile , a horrible person for associating with Epstein. Chomsky remains of the most monumental figures in exposing American atrocities and is a fierce critic of Israel.

Noam Chomsky remains a giant public intellectual despite the stupid idiotic attempts to discredit him

I don't believe that Noam Chomsky is part of any network of pedophiles or honey pot targets linked to Jeffrey Epstein. 

Can anyone tell us what the "many long and often in-depth discussions" between Noam Chomsky and Jeffrey Epstein were about?  What were these topics? Global finance? Jeffrey Epstein wasn't really a banker or investor. 

It's become clear that he was simply an Israeli agent. 

What insights or first hand information did Epstein give to Chomsky that would be useful or informative to the dissident academic critic of American foreign policy? 

Twitter/X is full of abuse of Chomsky and I can't get on the same bandwagon. I don't think there is anything conclusive, not even remotely conclusive. 

Noam Chomsky is too important, too epic, too monumental of a public intellectual and, the Epstein so-called links seems to be a strange way to dismantle /discredit anti imperialist thought, canon, thinkers, intellectuals. 

Whoever is choosing to condemn Noam Chomsky one of the most important public intellectuals and fierce critic of American foreign policy is exposing themselves. I think there are i) idiots on the Left ii) those trying to discredit critics of American Foreign Policy.

White female privilege in extractive tourism and Pakistani desire to be close to whiteness at the expense of self respect

I foolishly joined a Dutch - Pakistani tour operator/company for a visit to Attock going through the Seven Sisters tunnels. I was screamed at and had fingers wagged at me by the Dutch woman because I was slower than others due to a twisted foot. This happened twice during the day and was never resolved. The woman never apologised and blamed me for being slow. To date this group is blaming me for being slow by 11 minutes when I expressed indignation. No other Pakistanis came to my rescue , not even words of solidarity during or after the day. When I complained and pointed problematic behaviour, it was silence. Instead the Pakistanis fawned over the white Dutch woman, how much she loved Pakistan, stating how she had traveled more than any Pakistani, how she sacrificed to be here, etc. I got my refund but am sharing this experience. Moreover the Dutch woman was taking photos of locals without consent. She was taking photos with security personnel who shamelessly agreed to, something she could never do in Europe. She shoved off local passengers in the train to make space for the group and, when stopped, said “they are nice people”. Foreigners, UN international staff, in the group took photos of working class folks serving food without consent. There was no real history provided of the tunnels or railway station. I have experienced enough white woman phenomenon /tears/fragility/racism/imperialism/superiority/saviour complex too many times to count but to experience it again in extractive tourism is something. I am more disgusted with Pakistanis who chose to fawn over her and, ignore the problematic behaviour.

My YT channel was blocked

My harmless YouTube channel with home videos and Kavita's guitar sessions and really boring stuff was blocked because I reposted a video about the genocide in Gaza. Tech Bros the whole arsenal of American technofeudalism is in aid of the American Empire. I had to take a stupid YT course on violence (I have a masters in Violence Conflict and Development from SOAS which honestly in hindsight really never taught us much about how civil wars are fueled by the West in great detail and it was more anthropological, paid out of my own pocket the masters, enriching the Western Academia). There are brave journalists and voices who are constantly being removed from YT and, other platforms for simply speaking against slaughter of children and the powers that are supporting Israel.

We like to think that despicable politicians and leaders we don't like don't come from the people and aren't our reflections. American liberals pretend Donald Trump isn't one of them. Imperialists can't accept that Hamas is a legitimate resistance and, is doing what is their responsibility , to fight invaders. Pakistanis can't accept nor understand who they are and, nowhere was this flaunted at the so-called Peace Summit in Egypt where Shebaz Sharif saluted Donald Trump and bent backwards forwards to adorn and worship imperialism. What Sharif did at the Peace Summit is a reflection of what Pakistan is all about since 1947.
