Ex USAID , American NGO workers are criticising the close of USAID without raising a peep against the Genocide in Palestine. The normalisation of slaughter is numbing by "professionals" who base their careers on 'saving the world.' They are looking for ways to save their careers which are so soul-lessly disconnected from the people of the Global South, careers which support American Empire. It appears that the Trump administration is going to incinerate 500 tons of USAID emergency food. This is raising a larger hue and cry - in the bid to bemoan loss of careers which are part of the web of American imperialism - than starving Palestinian children. Please be reminded that USAID dumps American grain which it buys from American farmers onto subservient populations in the Global South. The slaughter of Palestinians reminds us how the US built its Empire on stolen lands and, genocide of at least 10 million Indigenous peoples. USAID and so called liberal centre-left American politicians merely represent the soft face of a brutal American Empire. The conflict between those who support American aid and those who call it wasteful is merely the fight to provide a face to the Empire.
