Epic evening walk

Tonight's evening walk was really the evening walk of our life. We hit all the rights spots, notes and highs.

If anyone asks what Kavita and I have been up to these past 2 years? My succinct response:  feminism and hanging out at Quetta Tea. Or, at least pretending to do feminism and actually hanging out only at Quetta Tea.

I exchanged some WhatsApp messages with a SOAS mate who lives in Delhi. She said things are pretty awful. She shared a picture of a delightful Christmas lunch with her family and guests and, she said, she had pretended to cook and then did the washing up. I chuckled at her turn of phrase.

So, borrowing from her, I shall say, too, I pretended to do feminism while actually drinking a lot of tea.

We walked up to the Park nicknamed Green Park by Kavita. CDA has been revamping the Park by levelling slopes, replacing slides, painting benches and, they are also doing some earthworks in the land/area next to it. These greenbelts were just overgrown 'green areas' before CDA started putting in walking paths and, cleaning them up. So, this bit seems to be getting a complete makeover.

You can see some pictures of the truck offloading dirt.

At the Park we sat on the ground, ate kino and, meditated. See video of a little a chat we had: Kavita in the Park

Kavita played on swings and slides and, made some friends with a brother-sister twin duo and their little sister. They played 'pakran pakrai.' There was a 2 time rule which I couldn't quite understand. I think every generation improves the game you played as a kid so now catch has a 2-time rule now, whatever that is.  There's a video here and, you can hear her little friend saying " Bewakoof mera haath pakar lo."

After this, we said goodbye to our new friends and decided to hop and skip to F-10 Markaz. We discovered a Future World School for small kids that offers German Language that seems to have a huge campus, very bright lights advertising its school.

"Come you privileged elites, come and send your kid here to learn colonial languages, including German. With German, now you have another option i.e. another passport to dream of and acquire. We will prepare your child for the  perfect elite education, culturally dead, religiously strong and nationally brainwashed."

In F-10, we had tea and paratha at the new Quetta Tea 20. This place has a lift, which we took to go and sit on the 2nd floor which had a fantastic view. We really enjoyed ourselves. See the videos we made: Enjoying paratha and gur wali chai at Quetta Tea 20 and Tour of Quetta Tea 20

Looks like Quetta Tea is going to take over the world.

And, in other news, tonight is the 3rd or 4th time, I've seen a car being towed. Does this mean traffic and parking laws are going to be really enforced?
