IT helped the Pope's Butler

It seems that IT and Butlery have been made scapegoats in a most mysterious and fearsome affair that only the mighty Catholic Church could  been involved in.

Leaked documents. The Vatican. Pope's Butler. Computer Technician.

All these have a bizarre and rather amusing connection. Earlier this year, the Pope's Butler was arrested for leaking some very sensitive documents.

Described as someone "who served Pope Benedict XVI his meals and helped him dress for ceremonies," the poor butler, Paolo Gabriele, was finally convicted and is rotting in a Vatican dungeon.

The butler was apparently aided by a computer analyst by the name of Claudio Sciarpelletti, a computer programme analyst. Sciarpelletti, who pleaded innocence, will also be thrown into a cell next to the butler.

The scandal hints to skullduggery in the highest echelons of the mighty Catholic establishment. It seems that IT and Butlery have been made scapegoats in a most mysterious and fearsome affair that only the mighty Catholic Church could have been involved in.

All we can do is hope that the computer technician and butler will at least be able to comfort each other in the dungeon.
