Attended this session at The Black Hole : losing the Gender Gap: The Fight for Women's Rights in Pakistan . You can see the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEgdtki2h84&t=176s.
The speakers were Mira Sethi (Actor and Writer) and, Muneeb Qadir (Author, Lawyer, Professor of Human Rights Law and Constitutional Law at The Millennium Universal College) . I really enjoyed this lively conversation. Mira Sethi was down to earth, witty, well spoken and, really good to listen to. Muneeb Qadir was also a really great speaker and, I believe is a new generation of men who seem to understand the feminist demands of the Women's Movement in Pakistan, is well versed with the the Aurat March, and express the rage that feminists demand of men. At the same time, a liberal tinged discussion of women's issues has its limits. I asked a question in the end and, I think it's in the video.
As always grateful to have The Black Hole.
Kavita was busy with her crochet which attracts such ooh and aah's from everyone!
