I got some beautiful shots this evening. Tariq brought Kavita a beautiful big-ass green scooter and, we finally took it for a longer spin to the Park. But, it turned out to be - in the glow of the golden evening - nerve racking. How does one cross the road? How do you steer a big scooty and a kid? How do you convince kid ?
The other evening, Kavita insisted on taking her scooty to F-11 Markaz on a nightly stroll. By God, it was a screecher of an evening. I warned Kavita that we have cross the roads of Islamabad which have no pedestrian crossings. We will have to navigate the road and Markaz which even on just plain old feet is hard enough not to trip over: no real sidewalks, access, pedestrian crossings, etc. So, half the time I'm trying to carry the Scooty and steer Kavita who thinks she can do it herself. And, then some handle or wheel kept hitting Kavita. We have several meltdowns.
Same thing happened this evening and we had a major meltdown. We got over it and, proceeded with our evening.
