Rainy Sunday Brunch

Wassim, Marion and us got together for a sumptuous brunch at the Royal Hotel after Wassim's break in Lebanon. We got to hear great stories about Yanis' escapades with his grandmother and cousins.

The brunch is fantastic - an endless spread of croissants, muffins, eggs benedict, eggs florentine, lasagna, vegetable sushi, noodles, dumplings, and sticky toffee pudding. They also had Good Julu juice to order.

Eggs florentine and eggs benedict - why does saying that make me think of monasteries?

It was a massive crowd - literally everyone in Monrovia who could afford to go for brunch was there. And, we had to wait for a good 20 minutes until a baby chair was available!

It was raining, too, so it was a perfect day to stuff our faces followed by a great Americano coffee at the coffee shop downstairs. I love love sitting there sipping on a hot drink when it's raining. Can't wait to go there again!
