Sights, sounds and smells of Aabpara Market

Had a fantastic Saturday. Morning was music school although Kavita's guitar teacher did not show up. We met Kavita's tabla teacher, Ustad Naimat Khan who insisted we re-started tabla class. He says Kavita's "computer" , pointing to her brain, is exceptional.

Another small child was there, only 8 years old. This boy was learning tabla and, had already mastered a fair bit of skill. I asked him why he wanted to learn it, he said he saw it being played at a wedding and, that's why he wanted to learn. His father was sitting nearby and, we chatted a little. Ustad Naimat said they come all the way from Chakwaal for the class.

Kavita sat during the class a little bit and, played a little. It was agreed Kavita would re-start tabla class.

After this, we went to meet our friends, Ayesha, Dr Jafri and,  the kids, Hassan and Mohsin, at the Sports Complex. I have never been to the Sports Complex before so it was an amazing experience. It's huge and beautiful. There are running tracks, football fields, tennis courts, etc. There's also a football coaching club for young kids.

Kavita was too shy and, watched from afar. Hopefully, will plan a session of football for her.

After that we went to Aabpara Market to get some grilled fish which we enjoyed later at Ayesha's home.

What a memorable Saturday!
