I
have been in Pakistan for almost 4 months on a long holiday which I have
thoroughly enjoyed. It was freezing cold when I arrived and was a
welcome change of weather from the dry season back in Liberia. Now, it
is like an oven. I was set to return to Liberia this week - looking
forward to the cool rains of the rainy season - but will have to
postpone my trip back for at least another month due to an annoying
medical issue which will require surgery in a couple of weeks. To
everyone in Liberia, I have not absconded, I am just held up for a
little bit more.
