1) Feminists celebrate and honour century-old International Women's Day on 8 March called Aurat or Aurat Azadi March, 2) the next day mullah mob starts filing applications of FIR against the March using doctored videos, false claims and these false claims start getting picked up by mainstream media 3) The charges levied by this mullah mob from all right wing mullah parties are of blasphemy, the most dangerous tool there is in Pakistani state and society , a lynching tool , a direct incitement to murder 4) Feminists issue clarifications and remain steadfast to their right to protest and, their progressive agenda and demands 5) However, many of them also have to go underground because the blasphemy charge is a direct kill order, even the whiff of one can mean death by mob 6) FIR applications with blasphemy charges and demands to ban Aurat March keep going round and feminist are engulfed in this 7) Feminists and supporters write open letter to Imran Khan asking state to step in 8) Letter is ignored 9) Urdu daily Ummat prints a headline calling feminists 'whores' 10) Next day Prime Minister Imran makes a speech supporting rape, abusive marriage and, degradation of society. 11) Top Pakistani leadership has thrown feminism and progressive agenda under the bus. Ladies and ladies (I think the Pakistani gentleman is a hopeless cause) if there is any doubt left what Pakistan state stands for, please pulverise it: the Prime Minister has said in plain words that indecency has led to rape, that urges cannot be controlled, that films are responsible for rape culture, that divorce rates are up. He is in sync with the Mullah Mob which wants to ban Aurat March on grounds of blasphemy and, the Daily Ummat which printed a headline saying feminist organisers of Aurat March are whores. Call out the Prime Minister.
