Dresses are out and, all pretence of cold weather is gone. We enjoyed the blooming pink roses in our garden. There's also clover everywhere. Apparently, it's also not harmful for the garden. How could it?
Kavita loves riding her new bike and, she had lots of fun riding it around the green belt opposite our house.
Then, we stopped to write more words with flowers and twigs and leaves.
I love these dark green little baby clover growing between rocks.
Kavita's all set: mask, jacket in case it gets cold on the back seat (it won't, winter is over) and
lots of energy
The gorgeous flowers of the kachnar tree . Last year I learned these blossoms are also
cooked into a sabzi.
See here: "Kachnar is a local name in the Indian subcontinent for the edible buds collected from the tree; it is widely used as an ingredient in many subcontinent recipes. Traditional kachnar curry is prepared using kachnar buds, yogurt, onions and native spices. Kachnar buds are also eaten as a stir-fried vegetable and used to make achaar, a pickle in many parts of the Indian sub-continent. " From
Wikipedia, of course.
A little water break. See that orange bottle? It came with the bike and Kavita loves it. I love how
kids feel so cool and independent just from a little water bottle.
Don't you love this shot?
Why is this taxi parked in the green belt? I saw another red car too parked in the green belt
until I scolded and stared at the driver who then drove away.
The magnificent cotton silk tree. Look at it, all the flowers are gone.
We wrote "love"
"red"
And " feminist "
And "Ami"!
On the way to the F-11 Markaz, we couldn't get enough of these luscious pink roses. This house
had planted so many!!
For dinner, we came back to Quetta Burning Café after a long time and what a feast we had! And all for
less than 1,000 rupees. And, they have the best lassi.
Last stop at the supermarket and lookit what I saw: Veet for Men! Gosh, now men can have
smooth silky skin too and almost great things. Bless.
