Coconuts, sandcastles, hot and sour soup and then Sharks ice-cream

We had a great day out today, which started with getting coconuts at ELWA junction. We headed to Kendeja beach for lunch, letting the kids swim in the kiddy pool, and making castles and moats. We also walked to the lagoon, which is about a few minutes away from the main Kendeja beach, where we collected rocks. After the beach, we stopped at the Garden Restaurant for Hot and Sour soup. The last stop was ice-cream at Shark's.

The first photograph is the drive way of a compound. The compounds really are little bubbles of clean, orderly, and functioning residences, stark contrast to how ordinary Liberians live.

What a perfect Sunday!
