I always thank my friend from whom I inherited so many cookbooks after she left Liberia. I have tried so many baking recipes from these books.
Today Kavita and I made some ginger and clove cookies from Joy of Cooking. The cookies turned out so well. We then coated them in red and blue food colouring.
The flavour was amazing and, next day they were soft and gooey.
