Over the hill or underland, or just behind a tree

Another epic evening walk around the river. We start from Bishop's Park and keep walking along the river until we reach Hammersmith Bridge, cross it and then walk along the forest until we are back on Putney Bridge. We pass houses, glass and steel apartment buildings, statues, and even a Harrods Furniture Depository! 

Kavita didn't want to do this walk but I convinced her to do it with the promise of a KFC bucket afterwards. We had fun talking, playing games as we walked.

There are roses, roses and more roses

Astonishing how beautifully huge these trees are. This is where people bring their dogs to. 

This is the famous slide that Kavita has really enjoyed. What a cool slide!

Epic walk around the river

So , we embarked on the epic walk that I used to do when I was staying here in Fulham the year I did the Master's at SOAS. Kavita had no idea really how long this was going to be. I also got a sore, having forgotten how long it is even though we do epic walks all the time. If you don't know the way or don't remember it so well, somehow things get tiring. 

Kavita made a up a very interesting game while we walked. We both had to save the world by taking back a precious jewel from some evil character without which the universe would be destroyed. It was fun making this up while we walked. The green Hammersmith Bridge figured in this game very well.
